A Retrospective

For over 30 years, Derman Villegas has collected miniature liquor bottles in virtually all varieties including glass, ceramic, and figurines. Today, his personal collection consists of Blue Delft from Holland, jug sets, and rare Scotch Whiskies.

Derman is part of an international community of mini bottle collectors who trade, buy, and sell at shows and online auctions. As a long time member of MMBC – Midwest Miniature Bottle Collectors club – he has attended several shows and made contributions to the club.

In Peru, Derman has been instrumental in promoting miniature bottle collecting as a standout hobby to a new generation of aficionados. His passion for collecting is contagious and along with his gregarious networking skills, Derman has introduced many folks to the hobby.
